Have you had it up to here with winter skin problems?
The dry and cold air of winter can ravage your skin, and not just on exposed areas like your face and hands, but all over your body.
You do not have to succumb to winter’s effects on your skin. Here are a few pointers for keeping the other parts of your body looking youthful and smooth all winter long.
Elbows
Crusty elbow skin isn’t in this season. Or any season, for that matter. Solve this problem with an exfoliating scrub applied with a soft nail brush or abrasive sponge to remove the dry broken skin from your elbows. Use an emollient cream – foot cream works well for maximum hydration. Before bedtime, rub in some petroleum jelly. Prevent buildup on your elbows by exfoliating once or twice per week and using lotion daily. (This same strategy works on your knees, too!)
‘Sans Age’ means ‘without age’. Sans Age skin products are now available on the internet and you can use Sans Age Coupons for the best in premium skin care.
Legs
Your legs are now stuck under pants, leggings, and tights much more than they were in the glory days of summer. You may start to notice tiny red bumps. They are probably in-grown hairs. One way to prevent in-grown hair bumps on your thighs (and around the pubic area) is to use grape seed oil or grape seed oil extract. Apply it immediately after you shave, and then continue to apply it each day for silky and smooth thighs.
Do you experience what is often called “ashiness on your legs, especially your calves? It is especially noticeable on ethnic women. It can look like a coat of white powder covering your skin, and sometimes even has a bit of a scaly appearance. The quick fix is to apply a heavy lotion, silkening oil, or body cream to the surface (In fact, Biosilk, which is a conditioner meant for the hair, works like magic.),
