How much water should you drink?
Many people wonder just how much water they should be drinking to make sure they’re adequately hydrated. The general rule of thumb is that you should drink about eight glasses of water a day. These glasses should be at least 8 ounces each, for a total of about 64 ounces of water per day.
Now, this is for people who have a normal lifestyle, and are just moderately active. If you do a lot of exercising, are out in the sun a lot, or do other things that cause your body to perspire, losing hydration, you need to be drinking water more than ever to compensate for that.
