I am in my 40s and have tried a whole lot of diets and looked into every diet philosophy. I originally bought into the low fat advice and cut down on meats in general. of course I ate plenty of bread. Well guess what? I got fatter. It wasn’t until I read a book by Dr Al Sears that convinced me to go the opposite direction and eat lots of protein and cut out breads. That advice worked great. So I find that the best diet plans are the ones that are low carb and high protein.
