I think that teen relationships should mainly be viewed as a learning experience for teenagers. It seems the when kids hit the age of teen dating, there’s a magical emotional trigger that goes off. Now the teens immediately feel they have lots of independence and want to go out their and join the adults. They start to think that mom and dad have taught them everything there is to know about teen relationships and now they can easily make their own decisions. Well, even though the parents have made an effort to give you some good advice to help prepare you for adult life, you still are missing an important part. The key part that you are missing is some experience with teen relationships. Many times you will end up learning this the hard way.

So, I think that teens should really view any and all teen relationships as a way for them to learn from their experiences so it can help them later in life when they start having a more serious relationship. They should also look at these teenage relationships as an opportunity to have some fun with their friends. I think that they should give themselves a chance to grow and mature emotionally and learn about themselves before they run out there and get into a serious relationship.
