Laundry detergent is a by product of crude oil and fatty acid, which causes it to be soapy. Detergent wash liquid has chemicals in it to make it effective in cleaning dirt and oil. It is not environmentally friendly at all and not good for children.
A great amount of people are allergic to detergent. They have an allergic reaction from the chemicals that is added to clean clothing. Detergent can cause skin irritation and the symptoms are swollen, blistered, or scaled, and may burn.
