If you want an interesting element in your fish tank, think about adding some aquarium snails. To some they are great pets. But if they are unwanted, they can be big pests. While there are many varieties you can purchase, sometimes they get in there by mistake – usually on fish tank plants and and if you see them in your tank, you might wonder where they come from.
There are several different species of aquarium snails Depending on the species, you might have to feed them plant food or fish food. You want to be sure your snails are compatible with your fish, so think about putting them in with tetras, danios or guppies.. On the other hand, if you are trying to get rid of snails then put some loaches in your tank!
