Having a 40th birthday is usually not a happy event so when my wife had hers, we went out of our way to make it a happy event. The 40th birthday party supplies consisted of festive paper plates and plasticware. Here dad made her a 40 silver coin collage. I provided a live band and the whole day was a great time for all. I don’t think the wife even minded turning 40.
