Phuket Villas at Christmas

Posted by the author on November 12th, 2009

This year my friends and I are going to Thailand for Christmas and we are really looking forward to it. There are about 12 of us and we don’t want to stay in a Hotel because we want the freedom of sitting around in our robes any time of day should we wish to and in a Hotel we will be restricted to a bedroom because we can’t lounge around in the lobby! We are therefore looking for two Thailand Villas to rent between us, are Thailand villas big? I hope we will have a pool too.
We will be staying in Phuket which is quite a way from Bangkok, we’ll have to get a flight from Bangkok so we may consider staying one night in an Hotel there. As we are in Phuket we would be expecting the Phuket Villas we rent to have views of the sea and possibly only be a short walk from the beach. A friend of mine has just told me that most of the Phuket Villas do actually look on to the sea because it is an Island. The big question is will we be able to get a turkey? If not I suppose we could have a typical Thai Christmas meal, what ever that will be? We will be staying in the villas for new year too and from what I have heard it will be quite a party in Phuket at new year, we will have to decide whether we are going to go out or stay in, maybe we will meet some people and have them over for a party.

The best Phuket Villas

Posted by the author on October 20th, 2009

Of course, when I’m visiting Phuket with a girlfriend, I want to stay in the best Phuket property that I can afford so cheaper Thailand real estate just won’t do at all. For a little more money, there are some nice romantic Phuket Villas to choose from. One of my favorites is the Sunset Phuket Villa. Right on the beach and walking distance from the nicest parts of town, the location couldn’t be any better. The villa itself is certainly decent enough, but it is the location that really sells it. Surprisingly, the rates aren’t normally that much more than the properties on the island but the holiday is so much more impressive if you stay in a nice property especially if that property is a Phuket Villa right on the beach.

For an even more luxurious Phuket Villa, there’s the Harbor View Villa and the Villa Phuket. These are both very classy Phuket properties with great locations, beautiful rooms, and good service. Of course, they are more expensive!

Professional Guides On Your All Inclusive Hawaii Vacation

Posted by the author on October 15th, 2009

Some of the things you’ll find in a Hawaii all inclusive are professionally guided nature hikes, private beach access, and of course, luxury meals with the freshest seafood you’ll find anywhere in the world. Everything from pan-seared chilean seabass to lobsters pulled from the water just hours before they’re on your plate… that’s Hawaii! Another aspect of the 50th state that can be part of your Hawaii all inclusive is a tour of Hawaii’s Volcanos National Park. This is a not-to-be-missed sight, and the central attraction is Kilauea, one of the world’s most active (but least dangerous!) volcanoes. Kilauea is almost always erupting at a very slow trickle, and you can get very close to the crater to watch as the hot magma comes to the surface than progresses ever so slowly into the sea, making the island itself just slightly bigger in the process.

Studying the Thailand property market

Posted by the author on October 15th, 2009

I have always wanted to travel to the far east and this summer I realized my wish! I planned to travel around Hong Kong and Thailand but I actually never made it to Hong Kong as I felt Thailand had so much to offer.
I started in Bangkok where I sampled the fabulous sea food and experienced the wonderful friendly people. My favorite meal was pomm frit, not the french fries the fish. One thing I didn’t expect to be impressed with as much was the Thailand property, it’s so unusual and unique, so Temple like. I spent so much time looking in to Thailand property that I extended my stay at the Hotel and cancelled my plans to go to Hong Kong! I wanted to find out if I could buy a piece of Thailand property for myself I didn’t imagine that I would be able to afford much like the Thailand Villas I had seen, I assumed I was only able to afford an apartment in one of those Thailand Villas so asked to see as much Thailand property as possible and I spent a whole 4 days seeing some of the most beautiful Thailand villas and I also looked at some plots of land to build Thailand Villas on, If I did this I would have to have a company to buy it etc, which was a little complicated for me. I finally decided to purchase an apartment within one of the Thailand villas that was by one of the busy markets.

How To Generatge Solar Energy From Home.

Posted by the author on June 3rd, 2009

There are many solutions to produce renewable energy.

However, most of the products are not designed to produce the electricity needed for home supply. They cost fortunes and are only usable in the corporate world.

Some companies have developed products for generating home wind power or solar power, but they cost $1,000s for only one product. And this doesn’t even include installation.

Luckily this is where we come in. Home-Made-Energy will teach you everything you need to have your own solar or wind power system for $200 or even less.

Countless of tests have been made insure that these are the most effective methods for producing heaps of energy.

Home-Made-Energy developed the plans and wrote professional instructions for the “average Joe”, with plain English words. Anyone can understand and use them. (Even a 15-year-old kid!).

And before releasing them in a guide, many test subjects were used to see if all of them can succeed in generating enough electricity to power their home. You can read more articles on this subject and learn how actually generate soar energy from home by visiting our website at My Home Made Solar Power.

Planet earth, Do we believe our time is threatened.

Posted by the author on May 21st, 2009

Do You Believe our Survival on Planet Earth is being threatened? I feel we are looking at a particularly cynical time in the terms, of how we take for granted all the amazing benefits of nature. Damaging the seas with pollutions and darkening of the skies, it is an ongoing source of amazement to me that people seem to be oblivious of what they are doing to their environment, small things do make a difference and I feel if you can instill that idea into people, you can make a difference. Try to leave the place a little nicer than you found it, plant a tree, do something, pick up a piece of garbage. It would make a huge difference.

Increase in bird deaths caused by power lines

Posted by the author on May 20th, 2009

A Recent increase in bird deaths caused by power lines has raised a great concern here at Moholoholo Animal Rehabilitation Centre. In February we have found 2 Marabou Storks, 1 Cape Vulture and 2 Hadeda Ibises, all killed by collisions with power lines! These are the corpses which we have found on one area of our farm. We are, therefore, forced to ask the question– ‘How many more deaths are occurring every day which we do not know about?’ How many lives are lost, which go unnoticed? We believe this recent increase in deaths is due to the new configuration of power lines in the Limpopo Province. Read more on birds and power lines.

Presently the tallest skyscraper in the world, Taipei 101 is 509 m (1,671 ft) in height building located in Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan. The name of the tower reflects its location in Taipei’s international business district (101 mailing code) as well as its floor count. Not only the name, but also the design of the tower is quite symbolic. The tower features a series of eight segments of eight floors each. In Chinese culture the number eight is associated with abundance, prosperity and good fortune. Curled ruyi figures, which appear throughout the structure as a design motif, connote healing, protection and fulfillment.

An article about: Aids Quilt

The NAMES Project Foundation is responsible for the upkeep and display of, what is now, a huge AIDS Quilt. It has become an international symbol for all those affected by the disease and it sends out a very powerful message. There is currently over 44,000 individual panels in the quilt and the entire quilt was last shown in public at The Mall in Washington DC in 1996. Each panel measures 3 foot by 6 foot and is the size of a normal grave. These are passed over to the Project Foundation and are pieced together with other panels to make blocks of 12 foot by 12 foot. It is these blocks that are exhibited locally and usually contain 8 panels.

European Club Night in Berlin

Posted by the author on March 27th, 2009

On 24th April 2009 Berlin will celebrate five years of EU enlargement – 5 years of new horizons. On this occasion the whole city will be turned into one massive event where the Department of Foreign Affairs will be in collusion with the Berlin club scene. Does that sounds suspicious to you? Well, actually it is not…
Under the patronage of Foreign Minister Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, this night of clubbing will be taking place for the third time.
The first time the event took place was 2 years ago and that was on the 50th birthday of the European Union and last year was a roaring success as well.
The guests of the Club Night are able to perceive the offer in each participating club by buying only one ticket.
Approximately 30 different Berlin clubs have been announced and will house bands, DJs and live acts from all over the European Union. In 2009 more or less 10.000 visitors are expected.
Under the “Welcome to the Club motto, the image of the EU, in a manner of speaking, is assigned to the dance floor and invites people to shake their hips to the rhythm of many sounds.
A special appeal is the fact that not only music from London and Paris is heard on Berlin turntables but you can also enjoy music from countries like Lithuania and Estonia.
Given the cost for entry to a club for the night, it should be considered value for money. For only 12 euros you can experience 100 DJs from 27 countries on different places.
Musical emphasis of this night is on the 12 countries which had entered in the last five years, due to the 50th anniversary of the biggest enlargement in the history of the EU.
The opening ceremony informs us of which countries will be involved and they are also presented during the club night.
Each country uses a different definition and interpretation of music so that this night offers a multiplicity of styles.
Especially those countries that you have never really felt connected to. They have a chance to give you an understanding of their culture and their attitude towards life by presenting their music.
Those of you who will still be in Berlin at the end of April should not hesitate to buy tickets for the 50th birthday of the enlarged EU. You will enjoy a mixture of cultures and if you find a nice Unterkunft Berlin or stay with your friends in a Ferienwohnung in Berlin, it will be definitely worth your while to add the club night to your itinerary in Berlin.
For more information on all clubs that complete line-up you can visit the homepage www.eu-clubnacht.de. Enjoy your visit to Berlin and on the European Club Night.

How to Speak French

Posted by the author on March 25th, 2009

It took me considerably longer to master speaking a foreign language, although I was able to learn French fast. I’ve always had a sort of natural facility for languages, as a lot of people think it is hard to learn how to speak French. I grew up speaking German and English in my household, so I was already bilingual before I even tried speaking French. I actually started off pretty casually. One of my friends was a native French speaker, and she agreed to be my conversation partner. Besides that, I used an online French course and some software that had been recommended to me. It definitely helped to master the basics in my spare time. I did not really have time to take another course at that moment, so it was nice to be able to learn the really simple stuff on my own.

Weight Losing Exercise

Posted by the author on March 24th, 2009

Exercise doesn’t matter so much as your approach to it, is one of the interesting things I found out about exercises to lose weight quickly. There are many different weight loss exercises, but generally the common point is that you keep your heart pumping for an extended period of time. You do a warm-up session, a mid-intensity session, a high-intensity session, and then vary the intensity until you’re ready to cool down. That way, your heart is always beating even when you aren’t giving it your all. Apparently, this is much more effective for weight loss than a short burst of peak exercise.

Summer Writing Workshops

Posted by the author on March 16th, 2009

I didn’t go to a normal summer camp, when I was a kid. I would sit inside with a pen and notebook all day, Instead of running around outdoors and taking swimming lessons like all of the other children. I attended summer writing workshops, every single year from the age of 13 on. It started out when I showed my mom a story I had been writing. She was beyond impressed with it, and my mother was a hard woman to impress. I was enrolled within the day, when she showed to one of her friends who ran a summer writing workshop.
