High Definition Video Production Services

Posted by the author on June 15th, 2009

There are many situations in life that require the services of a video production company. These situations can be ones such as weddings, funerals, school play, etc. There are many big buisnesses out there, like Clark’s Studio, that offer these services, but usually at expensive prices. It is probably smarter to go with a small video production company, such as Beyond Forever Studios, who many have never even heard of. Not only are their prices cheaper, but they also do higher quality work in a shorter amount of time.

When you hire a video production company, you are actually paying them to perform two services, not one. First, you are having them film the event or situation that you want filmed. Secondly, they edit the footage in order to produce higher quality work. Many do not know about this second stage, and it often makes them think that the first stage is very overpriced. Like I said, it is probably wiser to hire out smaller companies than the big buisnesses. The smaller ones are much cheaper, and they produce better results in a shorter amount of time. It will probably take about a week or so to edit the footage so be patient. You will get your video.

Getting the Right Channels for the Right Price

Posted by the author on November 12th, 2008

My mom wanted a satellite dish, but my dad wanted cable. They both had channels that they liked to watch, but the deals they found would only allow for one person or the other to get what they wanted. The satellite company could give mom all of the channels she wanted, but only one of dad’s channels. The cable company could give dad all of his channels but only two of mom’s channels. I, however, looked up direct tv deals and found one that encompassed both of their favorite channel selections. I found it by reading the article, “DirecTV – The Most Value for Your Dollar. I showed my results to my parents, showed them the price, and prevented World War III from starting in my house. All in a day’s work.

Is It True That Plasma TV Screens Don’t Last?

Posted by the author on November 4th, 2008

This holiday season, I’ll be shopping for a new plasma TV. I’ve been dreaming about getting a plasma television set to replace my old 32-inch Sony CRT television for a couple of years. I waited until now because the prices for the plasma was beyond my reach.

Before rushing to the electronics store, I wanted to be sure that my investment would last. One of my concern about the plasma TV is how long the screen would last. I’ve heard that the new plasma televisions don’t last as long as normal, and more affordable televisions. So I looked into this to see if this was true or merely a myth.

The other story that I heard was if you kept the same image on the screen for too long, the image would be permanently burned onto the screen. Since I use my TV to play a lot of video games, this was a major concern.

In my research, I found an article that talked about plasma tv screen lifespan. It was a good article in that it clarified a few of the major questions that I had about plasma TVs.

Door Curtain

Posted by the author on October 29th, 2008

You’ll need a curtain rod for fabric door curtains. Hardware and department stores carry many types of rods to complement your fabric. Wrought iron rods are elegant, with elaborate finials and twisted or rolled rods. Brass rods are attractive and go well with a Victorian theme. White painted metal, spring-loaded rods work well with heavy fabrics where the rod is not exposed. If your choice is a beaded door curtain, you needn’t buy a rod, as these come with a built-in rod.

I Was a Faux Fur Coat Kind of Girl

I loved the feel of the soft pelt but I didn’t really understand what it was made of until my parents accidentally mentioned that it was rabbit fur. It was devastating to know that I was wearing little bunnies and I wouldn’t wear the coat ever again. From that moment on, I was a faux fur coat kind of girl.

Setting up a Custom Home Theater System

Posted by the author on October 28th, 2008

Setting up a custom home theater system can be complicated if you have never set one up before. You may need to consult a professional or at the very least someone experienced in electronics. There are a number of factors to consider in setting one up properly. Because you would like to approximate the environment in a real movie theater, you pay attention to aspects such as the size of the viewing screen, ambient temperature, seating comfort, ventilation, controllable lighting, and seating arrangements.

Strange as it may seem to insure the optimum viewing pleasure, you must paradoxically pay attention to the sound. This is the overriding consideration in designing a custom home theater system. What distinguishes your custom set-up from the garden-variety television situation is the surround sound system.

Compare satellite TV and HDTV

Posted by the author on October 27th, 2008

Satellite TV is the new wave of television. It refers to broadcasting via communications satellites – very different from traditional “terrestrial television and even from “cable television. Satellite TV offers a wider range of services and channels, not to mention subscription-only channels.

HDTV
There was an old episode of HAPPY DAYS (a real old episode from the first season when it was shot on film…yes, THAT old) that featured the family purchasing a color television converter. The converter – which was a real item that was sold on the market in the 1950’s – was a plastic cover with transparent colors that would be placed over the black and white image and convert the image into a color image.
