Take a few minutes to read this scripture in Ecclesiastes 10 to see what Solomon had to say about leadership.

What Does the Anger of Esau Have to do with Us?

Posted by the author on November 10th, 2010

This Bible story about when Esau is angry at Jacob is very sad, but how often does something like this happen, even today? We’ve all been angry at one time or another in our lives, sometimes much angrier than others. Do you remember how you reacted toward the person that made you really angry?

Do you think God puts us in these situations just to see how we will react? I think he does, but he also wants us to turn to him and ask him to help us do the right thing. I remember when I was growing up that I was always getting angry at my older brothers, but now that I’m all grown up I know that God has turned that anger into love for them.

Lesson from Mark – Jesus Walks on Water

Posted by the author on November 9th, 2010

I have always loved hearing the Bible stories about the miracles of Christ. One of my favorites, found in Mark 6, is when Jesus walks on water to help the disciples. Eventhough they had already seen the miracle of Jesus feeding 5,000 people, they still were afraid and felt disbelief.

What can we learn from this lesson from Mark and the Christian commentary? I think we should always have faith in Jesus every day of our lives, even though sometimes it’s hard to just turn things over to him. But, in our hearts, we should know that he is in control and is always with us.

We see miracles every day but most of the times we don’t think of them as miracles from Jesus. Think about things that have happened in your life whether good or bad. During this time did you put your total belief in God or did you reject him? How do you think Jesus feels when you don’t believe in him after all he did for you?

Always remember that others can see everything we do on the outside, but God also sees what we do on the inside. Share these verses and Christian commentary with others so they will have a better understanding of honoring God.

Getting Away with Sin

Posted by the author on September 28th, 2010

Have you ever had anyone say to you that they have never sinned? You know this is not true because every one of us sins everyday. It doesn’t matter if it’s small or large, it’s still a sin in God’s eyes. We can’t hide our sins because God knows and sees our every move and thought.

Those who have accepted Christ as their Saviour know that God will forgive them of their sins if they ask him. How many sins have you commited today? There are some things we do that are sins but we don’t want to admit we are sinning. Don’t you feel better knowing that if you commited a sin today and asked for forgiveness you would receive it?

Sarah’s Worry and Doubt – Asking God for the Impossible

Posted by the author on September 7th, 2010

Read about this amazing miracle about Abraham’s son in Genesis for your Baptist Bible study along with the Christian commentary. Sarah giving birth to Isaac proves that God can do anything. How would you have felt if you had been in Sarah’s position? Would have had doubt if God told you that you were going to have a baby at her age? I don’t really know if anyone today could comprehend that message.

But, as Christians we know that all things are possible through God and we should never doubt him, but we are all guilty of this many, many times. The next time you feel worried and doubtful, take some quiet time and talk to God. He always listens.

Who Are The Fairies?

Posted by the author on August 31st, 2010

Sweet fairies… Who doesn’t love them? Kids? Yes. Women? Sure. So, who are the fairies?

Fairies are tiny, sensitive creatures that have got magical abilities. They are often depicted as slight with wings humans with mysterious properties. Furthermore they are perceived to be mischievous quite often. They are very closely affiliated with flora and fauna and show a unique preoccupation with environmental affairs.

Certainly, those fairies in their floral or flower or woodland or garden fairy costumes are very delightful and carry a mysterious charm. They are thought to be to have got the natural ability to fly, place supernatural spells and show the capability to foresee the coming future. Despite the fact that you are cynical, you need to know, they are everywhere you look, you only really should know where to search.

The the natural wolrd fairies are mermaids, water-spirits, tree-spirits and this kind. Social or cluster fairies are those who reside in good sized organization, such as a kinship. Knowing a fairy’s real name allows you power over it, so fairies are said to shield their real names very carefully.

Several hypotheses maintain that fairies are unnatural creatures, fallen angels trapped on earth, phantoms of the pagan dead, primitives, nature spirits, invaders from an different or parallel universe, or antique gods or goddesses who have been so neglected that they have lost their capabilities and deteriorated into fairies.

In Ireland, for instance, fairies are considered to be the other relatives of humankind. The Norse types of the fairies are the large selection of elves that happen to be in the Teutonic traditions.

Among the most commonly known fairies is fairy godmother. In Cinderella adventure she gave a sad girl a occasion to stop by the formal dance by turning her ragged attire into Cinderella ball gown with one magical spell . This was good enough to reroute the future of the slave girl to end up a little princess.

Human beings who enter into the fairy realm simply cannot leave the moment the entrance closes behind them.

Fairies mustn’t be confused with gnomes, which are equally mythic tiny human beings but are mutilated and stay underground. All the characters in it, human being and otherwise, are imaginary, acknowledging basically particular of the fairy folk, whom it could possibly be unwise to upset by throwing doubts on their world.

Do I Really Dream Of Genie?

Posted by the author on August 26th, 2010

The Islam religion sees the genie as to be more a true satanic force, the jinn, the devil himsel. We in the americanized and very commercial West idolized and distort the original portait of genie. He is rather a woman than a male depending who what we want to put in the story. So, if genie is based on the popular Aladdin story from Thousand And One Nights Tales, the genie will be definately male. But the gender does not matter for us, Westerners, the genie must be kept in an oil lamp and we know that if we get hands on the lamp, we will be the most lucky people in the whole world as the spirit of the lamp will grand us any wish: good and prosperous job, loving partner, fulfilling sexual fantasies or endless riches.

However beware of a I Dream of Genie beautiful woman! She is gorgeous and irresistable. Yes, she is here for her master. But she is from old and lost world. The modern world is confusing for her and her magic creates more havoc than fortune. Anyway, this is what the creators of I Dream of Genie would like us to believe. In the TV series an attractive gal with a glorious smile improved upon with the Carbamide peroxide gel and in many Arabian nights costumes gives every request of her master and… causing him total headache at home and at work.
