High Performance Ducati Motorcycles

Posted by the author on March 9th, 2010

Known for rich racing history and particular dominance in World Superbike competitions What makes Ducati motorcycles some of the best known high performance motorcycles to ever hit the tracks?

Probably the most powerful motorbike engine on the market currently is the Ducati Desmosedici RR. This $65,000 machine is a prototype engine that outputs above 200 horsepower. With the way things are going however, starting with the Desmosedici RR, it is likely that the V-Four engine is going to be replaced with the Twin.

This loud and powerful machine however meets emission standards and there is even a version for the road as well. The latest in the line of Ducati motorcycles is but a glimpse of what is likely to come from the manufacturers who define the track and the road when it comes to these rollers

South Africa Car Rentals

Posted by the author on March 4th, 2010

Travel South Africa’s beaches with South Africa car rentals for a special holiday experience. The country has rugged wild coasts and glamorous city beaches among a variety of other coastal attractions. The Western Cape beaches are nothing short of mind-blowing. The province has coastlines on both the Indian and Atlantic Oceans and is recognized its for whale watching. South Africa car rentals make it easy to get from place to place, and the West Coast is a fantastic place to start.

The West Coast is picturesque and natural with small fishing towns being the centres of civilisation. The wildlife, indigenous vegetation and mountains are remarkable, particularly in spring when the wildflowers bloom.

Cape Town’s Atlantic Seaboard is a stunning collection of white beaches, aqua coloured waters and magnificent mountain scenery. The beaches are “the place to be seen” and are very well patronised.

The glorious Cape Overberg Coast is legendary for its incredible whale watching opportunities from June to December, when whales journey to the warm waters to mate and calve. The town of Hermanus has a 12km cliff path overlooking the sea, wonderful for an aerial view of the whales below. The magnificent Garden Route is a highly recommended self-drive, especially if you hire car Cape Town Airport. The road runs between coast and mountain with amazing views and verdant plant life.

The Eastern Cape is an emerging province. Some of its coast is remote while other expanses are filled with the vacation homes of the well-heeled.

The Sunshine Coast enjoys a mild climate ideal for daily watersports. In fact, Port Elizabeth is unofficially the watersports centre of South Africa. Enormous sand dunes make lovely picnic sites; and estuaries and lagoons are brilliant for boating and birding.

South Africa’s beaches are diverse and captivating; a perfect recipe for an epic holiday. Try South Africa car rentals for creating your unique holiday experience.

Hunter survival tips and the right bow for hunting

Posted by the author on March 1st, 2010

You need to make sure that you choose the right bow as you prepare for the bow hunting season. There are a number of options on today’s market, so take the time to research all of them as it will make choosing the right bow for hunting that much easier.

Several factors will determine what kind of bow you purchase. Decide if your right or left eye is dominant, and then select your bow accordingly. This will help you as you attempt to improve your accuracy in the field.

Deal only with highly reputable companies that offer customer service and that guarantee your bow. You will be able to thoroughly enjoy the hunting season once you have found the right bow.

Hunter survival tips and the essentials for your survival kit.
Sometimes it’s easy to lose your way in an unfamiliar wood. Carrying a compass and maps of the general area that you will be hunting in can help in the event that you get lost.

Carry a flashlight with extra batteries in case you get caught out after dark. There are also flashlights on the market now that operate by just a shake, eliminating the need for batteries.

Matches in a waterproof case are essential and a sharp knife is good to have as well. A traditional Bowie or a Swiss Army knife both serves the purpose.

Freshwater fishing tips and northern pike techniques

Posted by the author on March 1st, 2010

Gone fishing - that’s where I usually was. In the fall it was gone to fish for walleyes and northerns. Anything else we caught was an accident. Here another of the tips or techniques for newbies to catch big northerns.

One day my dad heard the northerns were biting on a small, hard to get to, out of the way, little lake that was back in the middle of a cow pasture. The road to the fishing lake was more of a trail and it’s a good thing I had a pickup as my car wouldn’t have made it back in there.

We were the only people there and I picked a spot on a small point where an arm of water that wandered back into the pasture started. It was fall and I figured the northers might be going into the shallows on the arm to bask in the sun and then come back to the deeper water to feed. Go to the site to read the rest of the northen pike techniques.

This is a fishing blog. Just one of many fishing blogs on the net but I hope it becomes one of the better fishing blogs on the net. For me it’s a natural to have a blog about fishing and it fits right in with this site and it’s hunting and fishing forums.

Fishing is my favorite sport. I suppose I should say fresh water fishing is my favorite outdoors sport as I don’t particularly like ocean fishing. Then again I’m not much on river fishing either. Probably because I learned to fish in freshwater lakes and that’s where I’ve done the bulk of my fishing and thats why these are freshwater fishing tips. ;)

What’s my favorite fish to catch? When I’m fishing whatevers biting becomes my favorite fish. Sure, I start out fishing for walleyes or northerns but if I find the crappies are biting good I’ll switch to crappies. Having a love for catching as well as fishing I go with what’s biting the best.

While I love fishing I stopped eating fish a long time ago. Nowdays I either give all of my fish away or throw them back. Catch and release is good for anglers, good for the fish and makes fishing better. It ensures there will be some fish for the next person who comes along.

Who Likes Short Hair Designs on Women

Posted by the author on February 27th, 2010

Some guys love to see Short Hair Designs on Women, whereas others think it’s just one step closer towards a merging of the sexes. Won’t be long before dating a women will look like man dating a man, especially if she happens to be flat chested! Only 3 generations ago, it was virtually unheard of for young women and teenage girls to be seen in trousers, let alone pin stripped suites. Now some of them even wear ties and clutch onto brief cases as they venture off to the office. More young girls than ever before are taking up smoking and drinking, and this is alarming not only because of the increase, but because statistically there are more females than males picking up these rough and butch habits. And what about modern day man? He’s pushing the shopping trolley around the supermarket while holding onto the kids with one hand and taking grocery orders from the misses on the mobile phone in the other. And what’s with the pony tail chaps?  What’s next, crew cuts for the wife and pigtails for your lovely locks!  Honestly, evolution of the species is changing too fast and in the wrong direction for those of us men who still prefer to be the man of the house!  God help us all!!!

My Life Was Full Of Stress, So I Stayed At A Spa Hotel

Posted by the author on February 23rd, 2010

I felt like the weight of the world was on my shoulders. My entire life was a mess. Things were going badly for me at work, I was having problems in my romantic relationships, I was having money problems, and my friends weren’t there for me like they had been in the past. My mother took pity on me and bought me a mini vacation at a spa hotel. I had never stayed in spa hotels before, so I was very excited about it. I had no idea what to expect on spa breaks.

I left on a Friday scheduled to return on a Monday. I was very excited to see that the spa hotel I was staying at had a sauna, jacuzzi, and steam room. I didn’t know spa hotels had all those things. I was able to get facials and manicures and massage treatments around the clock. They had fantastic food there and wonderful room service. If I had known all this about spa breaks in the past I would have scheduled myself a stay at spa hotels a long time ago.

All in all, my stay in the spa hotel was very relaxing. I left on Monday morning not really wanting to leave. I felt completely rejuvenated after my spa breaks and was like a brand new person when I returned to work that day. My coworkers even commented on how I seemed to be glowing and happier than normal. I can’t wait to go back!

Treat Yourself To A Sauna

Posted by the author on February 17th, 2010

Go on you know you deserve it, don’t let all those toxins build up in your body, get along to your local sauna spa and relieve those pressures.

Gone are the days of the old dugout the Finns used to use as a sauna, in today’s modern times I don’t believe anyone wants or needs to use this method.

With standards for the home much higher now many people are looking to build their own sauna in their own homes, whether it is in or outdoors.

All Inclusive Honeymoons

Posted by the author on January 26th, 2010

The honeymoon, while traditionally revolving around a beach holiday is becoming more adventurous and elaborate- especially when it is combined with a destination wedding. Exotic locations, elaborate stagins, once-in-a-lifetime settings. Destination weddings and all inclusive honeymoons will be talked about for many years(or generations) to come.

Try to choose a place where you would probably never visit if you were not on your honeymoon. If ultimate solitude is your goal try to pick someplace where there is little chance of encountering somebody you know. You really don’t want to share your honeymoon with friends or relatives.

The typical all inclusive honeymoon package includes airfare, hotel accommodations, food, and alcoholic drinks. Planning a tropical vacation is not easy. All inclusive destination honeymoons save you from having to pay for anything additional while you are at the resort. The advantage of this is in knowing exactly how much your honeymoon is going to cost even before you leave home.

South Dakota Pheasant Hunting and Quail Hunting Tips

Posted by the author on January 25th, 2010

Pheasant hunting in the Eastern part of South Dakota should be even better this year than it was last year. There have been a couple of easy winters in a row and a lot of reproduction the last couple of years. It looks as if pheasant hunting will be better this year than last year.

Driving from DeSmet SD on highway 25 South to interstate 90 I’ve seen more pheasants this year than I did last year and there were a ton of pheasants along there last year. It wasn’t uncommon to see flocks of 20-40 birds at once.

I’ve also seen a lot more between Lake Preston SD and Brooking SD on highway 14 than I’ve ever seen before. Same from Lake Preston to Madison SD on highway 81. There are just a ton of pheasants in the area.

Hunting in the Eastern part of SD is just as good as hunting around the Winner area. There are ample places to hunt and plenty of public land that is open for hunting. The pheasant hunting is better in SD than anywhere else in the world.

Quail hunting is one of the top sports for those on the upper crust of society. It’s considered the top hunt for the aristocracy and is practiced by vice presidents (don’t quail hunt with VP Cheney tho) and world leaders to this day. Quail hunting is considered this way because it demands a lot less of the hunter in comparison to other hunts. Read the rest of these quail hunting tips to learn more about shooting quail.

It doesn’t take place in the morning, for example, or in the shivering cold. Instead, quail hunting can be done in relative comfort and can actually be quite stylish. For this reason, many people in the upper class of society try quail hunting.

Lot of hunters stay in quail hunting lodges and many of the hunting shows you see on TV are Texas quail hunting shows. Other states, including South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Arizona, New Mexico and California also have great hunting. You can find Quail in most states but not all.
