Our family has started scrapbooking to preserve our memories, and yesterday the reasons why hit home. As we all age we’re realizing that we have so much to be thankful for and to pass down through our family. We decided recently that we would learn about making a scrapbook, and during our Fathers Day dinner it became extremely apparent that a family scrapbook would have been nice to have. Let me explain why.

We recently lost to cancer a young member of our family. The topic came up so often during our time together it would have been nice to have an orderly collection of her life and the special times that were enjoyed. Although we’re not sure which style our memory book will finally be, if it’s more than we have now it will be worth every bit of time, effort and resources that will be required to build it. I advise others to do the same.
