Defrosting ground beef for ground beef recipies is quite easy. The best way to defrost ground beef is to take it out of the freezer a day or two before you plan on using the ground beef and let it thaw in the refrigerator. It’s easy to thaw ground beef so keep reading.
The next best method to defrost ground beef is to take it out of the freezer and let it sit out on the counter for a few hours until it’s thawed. Obviously you need to keep the meat covered so it doesn’t get contaminated.
The next best method for thawing ground beef is running some cold water in the sink and letting the ground beef thaw in the cool water. Don’t run hot water, lukewarm at most and make sure when you thaw the ground beef it’s in a leakproof plastic bag.
