What is missing in The Secret

Posted by the author on July 30th, 2007

Always thinking about your own problems is also another necessary reframe. We are all to be in service to others. Think about it from a money making deal-making standpoint . The greatest marketers or salespeople know the greatest return is when you provide a service or product that fills a need or solves a problem for others. When we are in service we are putting into action the more powerful thoughts and emotions that attract the things we desire most in order to do more of what we do for others. Another area to focus on along with being grateful is in giving . If abundance comes to us and stops at us, it stops coming. But as abundance comes to us and goes through us, it keeps coming, like a vacuum. Tithing has always been part of this process throughout time. Selfishness is sure to block the process to attract wealth and abundance. So as you can now see , there is more to The Secret using the law of Attraction than what people would like to believe.

How About A Cup Of Organic Coffee

Posted by the author on July 30th, 2007

All of us hear a lot any more about organic foods and why they are healthy for us and for our environment. For those of us who are coffee drinkers there is also the chose of organic and non organic coffee. For me its clear that I should make an effort for my health and the health of the environment to drink organic coffee.

Just as with other foods, organic coffee is grown without the use of pesticides and artificial fertilizers, but by natural methods instead. Apart from the fact that organic coffee is better for you it is a way to protect our planet. The concern is not only the chemicals that we put in our bodies but just as important, if not more, it’s where those chemicals go that do not reach the plant but are distributed in the soils and then our streams, rivers, lakes, and oceans. And I have always felt that organic fruits, vegetables, and yes, coffee tastes better than their non organic counterparts. There seems to be more flavor from organic products than non organic.

A downside of most organic products is their cost. The price will normally be higher for organic foods but that price is going down with their increased popularity. The methods for growing organic coffee are higher than the traditional methods and price is subject to the laws of supply and demand. As more farmers begin to implement organic farming methods the supply of organic coffee increase and we should see a price drop.

Condo Kitchens Getting Modern Bump

Posted by the author on July 29th, 2007

The sturdy, dark, and strong kitchens of the past that were seen from rural mansions to downtown condos have lost their appeal in modern Chicago condominiums. Instead of these more heavy features, newer condos are putting in more distinct, light and thin kitchen surroundings that embody a more contemporary appeal. Catching up with much of the minimalist furniture you will often see these days, these newly designed kitchens are spreading from Chicago’s south loop into the greater Chicago area.

Before the look infiltrated the condo’s interior, it could be seen in the exterior designs. Condo buildings had sharp features and slick edges that set them apart from the drab design of many other modern buildings in the area. Designed by some of the top names in interior design, such as Joanne Siciliano, who works for Riha Design, these new kitchens are calling out to contemporary Chicago condo buyers who want a cleaner, finer look than the dark trappings of the kitchens of the past. Their colors are bright, often barely noticeable accents of white and similar colors. Sicliano designs her new condo kitchens with a granite look in one of the new developments of the South Loop.

Problems With Car Security Systems

Posted by the author on July 28th, 2007

When I first bought a Viper car alarm, I thought it was pretty cool. I had been saving to buy my first sports car. At the time it was like a dream come true. I did everything I could to keep the car in good shape. I waxed it and cleaned it every few days; I drove slowly so as not to dent it. I did everything I could to take care of my vehicle  and of course I bought a top of the line car security system for it.That car security turned out to be almost useless. I don’t mean that it didn’t work. It worked too well, in fact. If you would so much as touch the car, the car alarm would go off. The problem was that nobody would pay attention to it. People are so used to car alarms going off that they usually ignore them. I have even seen policemen walk past cars with the alarms going off without doing anything. Most of the time it is a false alarm anyway.
