Posted by the author on January 31st, 2007

Preventing bladder infection necessitates absolute cleanliness. The most often recommended preventive measure for bladder infection is the intake of plenty of water to flush out bacteria. There are other natural remedies designed to combat this type of illness. Some women are prompted to first go the natural route in an effort to save time and the embarrassment of seeing a doctor. However, it’s important to be certain that the pain and discomfort really is an infection in the bladder. Once that is determined to be the cause it’s a matter of talking with the doctor to decide which of the bladder infection remedies will work best and quickest.

Hatha Yoga and the Results You Can Get

Posted by the author on January 31st, 2007

As a health care professional, I’m often asked questions about Hatha yoga.  Although, at first, I had little knowledge and no information about yoga, over time I’ve collected quite a library, and have even started to practice yoga in the early mornings.  You see, the practice of yoga – especially Hatha yoga – has become one of the most winning tools for improving health, fitness, and over all well-being.  Even though I still stand by Western medicine for its ability to treat severe conditions, I think we have a lot to learn from the East in terms of maintaining a superior standard of great health.  During any practice like yoga, tai chi, one of the many other internal arts, can be of great benefit in keeping healthy, young and flexible even into old age.

Window Washing For Self-Employment

Window Washing For Self-Employment
I visited some of the shops in the small town I was living in at the time and I was surprised that three businesses took to the idea of my washing windows for them right away. The beautiful thing about window washing is that it is quick; it is easy and window washing supplies are very cheap.

I quickly discovered that the most valuable of the window washing supplies is the squeegee. This tool is wonderful for window cleaning because it leaves virtually no streaks and it leaves no dust or residue. I did use a paper towel, but only for touch-ups.

Teeth Whitening Results

Posted by the author on January 31st, 2007

Within the field of cosmetic dentistry, there isn’t one definitive system or chart that measures and determines tooth color. However, when deciding a proper course of action with teeth whitening a professional dentist will first refer to what’s known as a shade guide.

When you consult a professional dentist regarding teeth whitening they will begin by matching each tooth to a shade on the guide.

It’s important to understand that there are no exact answers as to exactly how white your teeth can actually become.  It is ALWAYS best to first consult a qualified, professional dentist to determine a proper course of action based on your situation so it is done safely.

Working Mom Tips And Resources

Posted by the author on January 31st, 2007

The working mom is not by any means new to our society. Women have been in the workforce for as far as you go back in history, but in our generation it is quite common to find women who are also mothers in the workforce. Whatever the reason for this may be – increased standards of living or increased numbers of single mothers or something else entirely – working mothers are finding new and intuitive ways of finding supports.

Child Potty Training Tips – Toilet Training Your Toddler

Posted by the author on January 31st, 2007

The other day we sat down for a cup of coffee and I asked her just how she managed the task of potty training a child in 48 hours. I was really curious. I had been working on potty training my 21 month old for months. We had a few dry days. We had a few successes, but she was nowhere near ready for me to say that potty training was complete. As it stood we were still putting the children of diaper company executives through college and from where I was sitting, I could see no relief in sight.

Early Pregnancy Morning Sickness Remedies And Cures

Posted by the author on January 31st, 2007

Morning sickness can happen at any point in a pregnancy. Some get it in the earliest days and it goes away, while others are sick the entire time. There are some women who get it late in pregnancy though they were fine in the early months. When you get it will be up to your body. You may also have a short bout of it early in pregnancy only to have it disappear and then reappear later down the road. You never know when or where morning sickness will strike, but at least you know why you are having it.

Natural Menstrual Cramp Relief And Exercises

Posted by the author on January 31st, 2007

A traditional method of coping with cramps is taking over the counter medicines. Pain relief medications such as Tylenol or Aleve can only go so far. If you take pain relief medicine often, it may seem to you that you have to take more and more in order to feel a marked change in your cramps. I do not recommend taking any medicine to find menstrual cramp relief because you will begin taking it habitually every time that unwanted week rolls around. If you do choose to take pain relief medications for your cramps, talk to your doctor beforehand to make sure that you are not adversely affecting your health.

Top Maternity T Shirts Without Looking Huge

The first of the maternity t shirts that caught my eye during my search for comfortable pregnancy clothing was the “Baby on Board” version. I love the cute little phrase and the designers went all out by adding the detail of the signs that we commonly see in vehicles right into the logo. This adorable maternity tee is a great choice for a mom with a sense of humor.
